Perseverance.
An ancient tale tells of Koi swimming upstream in the Yellow River in China. Upon reaching a seemingly insurmountable waterfall at the end of the river, many Koi turned back, letting the flow of the river carry them away. One Koi, however, refused to give up. Time and time again, the Koi attempted to reach the top of the waterfall to no avail. The Koi’s efforts caught the attention of local demons, who mocked him and heightened the waterfall out of malice. Never giving up, the Koi finally reached the top of the waterfall. The gods recognized the Koi for its perseverance and determination and turned it into a golden dragon, the image of power and strength.
Don’t ever give up on your dreams.
The shape, color, and placement of the cricut illustrations invoke the classic yin-yang.
