The wondrous alchemy of making gold out of pain.
Life often brings pain. We get knocked over, over and over.
What we choose to do with that pain is what will ultimately define us, and either set us free, or keep us chained.
Transferring an illustration and poem by a favorite artist – Rupi Kaur – onto an interesting grid of old cabinet doors salvaged from a kitchen remodel expresses this concept beautifully and strikingly, while giving materials destined for the landfill a new, beautiful life.
The cabinet doors are left exactly as they were when they were removed from the kitchen. Pain does not need to be cleaned up before it is transformed into gold.
